Morpeth is an ancient and beautiful town. The buildings, streets and river have an appeal which attracts visitors from all parts and whilst here, those same people can find out the history of the place.
Over the years much has been written about Morpeth and photographs have been printed which show the changes in the town’s composition. Morpethians are justly proud of their borough, and the excellent histories published over the years have done much to satisfy the need for authentic enlightenment.
